My Deep Dark Secret

Dear Brett,
I have a secret that I know will blow you away. It is something that I can not just tell people, because if I tell anyone my secret then they will send me a dirty look. I am only entrusting you with my secret for two reasons. The first is that you are the type of person that is trust worthy just based off your weird smirk and the fact that you talk to everyone at school. Secondly, I trust you with my secret, because I know that you like my secret just as much as I do.
My secret is one unheard of before. I will give you a clue. My secret involves grass, and eight other guys. My secret brings great joy to many who like this activity. My secret is not only mine but many others life. My secret has a sister. With all these clues I hope you figure it out. Just I case I do not write to you again I will tell you my secret right here in this letter. My secret is the secret of all secret which is that I love baseball.
                                                                                              Sincerely,
                                                                                              Matthew Smith

Spooky Ghost Story or Just Supernatural Books?

To me gothic literature is all dark and gloomy. Mary Shelly's gothic book 'Frankenstein' on the other hand doesn't seem very gloomy but more mysterious and supernatural. When Shelley's character victor creates 'The Monster', she's injecting a sense of a supernatural event into the readers minds. This becomes supernatural because 'The Monster' is created through the use of the body parts of dead corpses. When Shelley uses this supernatural type of writing she's being highly effective of engaging her readers curiosity. The readers become intrigued as to what might become of  'The Monster' and are looking for more supernatural events in the story.

Flying or Invisibility?

If I had to choose between receiving the ability to turn invisible or be able to fly I would have to base my answer off logical reasons. First how would I receive my super powers? Would I fall into a radioactive puddle or maybe injected with a vaccine for chickenpox and have an allergic reaction to it which results in super powers? However I get my powers is fine by me. I would hope to receive the power to fly because I can save on gasoline because I would no longer need a car. I could race airplanes and jets all over the world with my new power. Besides, who would want to turn invisible and never be seen, or what if your invisibility power was glitchy and you were seen from time to time? If you were invisible and saved someone then you would never be recognized for it because no one would be able to see you and that would not be fun. For me flying would be a lot safer of a choice in powers. Plus all super heroes who fly get cool names.

Here One Second Gone The Next

If I had just bought a new phone and then it was stolen I would be really mad. I would do everything I could possibly do to retrieve my phone. If I was in a closed area I would make a scene and search everyone. I think that if my phone was stolen again I would go crazy. I might turn into a hermit and never talk to anyone. I would grow a "Mr. Juarez" beard and live off the land all because my phone was stolen. Technology can have a huge impact on your life.

Desperate Measures

One day I was sitting at home playing flappy bird when I got a call from out of the blue. On the other side of the line was my friend who was a knight. He was calling because he was just given a mission to retrieve a Princess, but he was bed ridden from "InsertSicknessHere". He needed someone to save her from the wicked, veil, Tiny T. I agreed to take on the challenge. He told me I had to make it past the Prickly Forest, and Hurricane Beach. Worst of all I had to sneak past the village of Shrieking Kids.
I decided that saving the princess was worth it. That night I set off on my trusty cat named El Gato. Me and El Gato made it past the Prickly Forest, but our clothes were al tore up with holes. We survived Hurricane Beach without a scratch except for the fact that the wind blew our hair every which way. As we were trying to sneak past the village of Shrieking Kids El Gato sneezed which caused all the kids to realize we were there. The kids started chasing us so I needed to develop a plan. I knew that I needed to take drastic measures. I figured that kids like cats, so I picked up El Gato and threw him to the kids. That was not the case though, the kids tore El Gato limb from limb. I barely escaped myself. I figured that saving the Princess was not worth losing my life, it was bad enough I lost my trusty cat. Instead of rescuing here I went back home to look for a new cat.

Am I Trustworthy?

One time I had to convince my mom to let me go laser tagging with my cousin. Most people think that there would not be a problem with this but my mom is different. She told me I had to have my room cleaned, which was only littered with my brothers toys. That was not her only concern My mother believes that my cousin is not an experienced enough driver. Plus that night was a really bad snowy night, even though the high way was cleared my mom was still worried.
I had to devise a plan to convince my mom to let me go. I needed her to trust that I would clean my room so I decided to clean half of it before I left and promised to clean the second half the next day. She agreed to that idea but than came the challenge of getting her to let me drive with my cousin. Me and him both promised her that if the roads got really bad we would pull off the road and call her. Also we promised to drive carefully. I did everything I could to get her to trust me enough to let me go. In the end though I ended up having a fun time with my cousin and our friends. I mean I felt great that I came in 3rd out of thirty people for the most kills.
